Early Bird Charters is a family run business in Bermuda with over 30 years of experience. Launched by Cap’t Blake West in 1982, Early Bird Charters started out with one boat, named Troubadour. The business is now run by the next generation: Cap’t Jim West and his wife, Melanie Fiander West. Professional, licensed, and insured - you're bound to have a safe and fun journey while out at sea!

 

Hop aboard Troubadour, a 42-foot double-ender boat with cedar trim and enjoy a classic fishing or a unique boating experience in Bermuda!  Run by a Volvo Penta D4-175, Troubadour cruises up to 12 knots to ensure a steady and relaxing voyage.

Terms & Agreements

Charters are scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Given the nature of the business, a charter may be canceled or rescheduled by Early Bird Charters due to poor weather, which is decided only by Early Bird Charters. To officially reserve a date for a charter, an initial payment + signed waivers are required. For your convenience, a 20% gratuity will be added to the invoice for groups of two or more.  For Holidays, an additional 20% may be added on to the invoice regardless of group size.
