Early Bird Charters is a family run business in Bermuda with over 30 years of experience. Launched by Cap’t Blake West in 1982, Early Bird Charters started out with one boat, named Troubadour. The business is now run by the next generation: Cap’t Jim West and his wife, Melanie Fiander West. Since then, a second boat has been added to the “fleet”, named Imagine. Professional, licensed, and insured - you're bound to have a safe and fun journey while out at sea!

“TROUBADOUR”

Hop aboard Troubadour, a 42-foot double-ender boat with cedar trim and enjoy a classic fishing or a unique boating experience in Bermuda!  Run by a Ford 125 horsepower diesel engine, Troubadour cruises up to 8.5 knots to ensure a steady and relaxing voyage. From Deep-Sea & Reef Fishing Charters to Day-Time & Evening Boat Cruises to Micro Wedding to Photo Shoots at Sea - our antique vessel handles it all!

“IMAGINE”

If you’re looking to feel the wind in your hair, this is the boat for you! Cruise through the water in our luxury vessel: a 35-foot Marlago, named Imagine! She’s run by Twin 250 Suzuki engines and glides across the water at top speed! Imagine focuses on sightseeing, swimming, evening cruises, micro weddings, and/or general transportation to get you and your party “to and from” the action.

Terms & Agreements

Charters are scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Given the nature of the business, a charter may be canceled or rescheduled by Early Bird Charters due to poor weather, which is decided only by Early Bird Charters. To officially reserve a date for a charter, an initial payment + signed waivers are required. For your convenience, a 20% gratuity will be added to the invoice for groups of two or more.  For Holidays, an additional 20% is added on to the invoice regardless of group size.
